The AS/400 Centre of Excellence has been in existence since years. Professionals specialised in AS/400 deliver cutting edge application development projects and handle business-critical systems for several Fortune clients. AS/400 systems include the Model 640 and 820, and are connected to clients worldwide using high-speed communication links.
Since its inception, Zerowait has been providing a wide-range of software services on the AS/400 platform to clients world-wide. The centre has accumulated more than 1,200 person-years of project experience on AS/400 products and applications. We produced 11 major conversion tools for IBM that converted JCL/OCL, Cobol and RPG programmes, screen and database definitions, and data from nine different competitive environments to the AS/400 environment; and we assisted IBM and its customers in the use of these tools. The centre has also developed several manuals for IBM.
The centre was eventually identified as an "all star" business partner, under IBM's Partners in Development (PID) programme, for its dedicated involvement with software development on the AS/400.
